Hi! I'm Michael

About Me

I'm currently a student at UC Berkeley, studying EECS. I love making stuff, whether that means mobile applications or circuit boards. Staring off into space is also a huge hobby of mine, and if you ever catch me like that, I'm probably thinking about algorithms or philosophy. The rare occasion that I'm not coding, I'm probably watching sports, baking, or adventuring.

Experience

UC Berkeley RISELab

Undergraduate Researcher

Working within the RISE lab on the Clipper project to develop a low-latency, modular architecture that hosts machine learning models, allowing for live and instant querying. Currently conducting model curation, transferring models from a variety of frameworks to a Clipper compatible format.

UC Berkeley SWARM Lab

Undergraduate Researcher

Researching low latency, low power wireless networks and their viability in factory applications at the SWARM lab. Using Python and the WaveForms API to develop a test harness to ensure experimental accuracy.

Intensivate

Software Engineering Intern

Using Flask and JavaScript to build a workflow application. Currently performing integration with an external server to reduce real-time latency, along with developing and deploying data structures to handle concurrent user changes.

Codeology

Project Developer

Developing a travel scheduler that takes in locations and preferences, and schedules optimal itineraries. Using Python and Javascript and powered by flow routing and graph algorithms.
